We had a lot of fun at this wedding. And what I really liked was that it was a wedding/reception combo. We get to film them every so often and it’s so fun. Everyone sits at a table when they arrive. After the ceremony is over, the center chairs are moved and the area becomes a dance floor. There was a lot of energy there and we loved being a part of it.
Congratulations Patrick and LeAngela!
Here are a few screen shots from their special day.
What an amazing couple…this about sums us Joel and Kim. Being around the couple, you can’t help but be happy. These two were very in love and their friends and family loved them very much as well. While getting to know Kim and Joel before the wedding, we were really able to get to know them and their love for family, and when we filmed the day of the wedding, we quickly found out how great their whole family is. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed being a part of such a wonderful union between them. Below are a few screen captures from their wedding day.
Last weekend was very busy for Duane and me. We had 1 video production job in Arkansas, a wedding film job in Georgia, a Senior portrait shoot, a maternity portrait shoot, and I also coordinated and directed a rehearsal and wedding in Alabama. Along with that, we managed to fit in a hair appointment for both of us. We have added a few pictures from the weekend.
The first 2 pictures are from the salon we get our hair done at. Bill Hunter is our hair stylist and he is amazing!! Every time we go to Arkansas we make sure to have him do our hair. I am still trying to convince him and his wife to move to Birmingham. If you live in the Fort Smith area you should check him out. You can make an appointment with him by going to www.thehead-hunter.genbook.com
The next picture is from the wedding that I coordinated. Congratulations Jonathan and Brittany!
We took Dana’s senior portraits in Fort Smith, AR. I will also add more pictures of him in the next post.
Below are a few pictures from a maternity session we did in Birmingham
Here are a few more pictures of Dana’s senior pictures from this past weekend.
We love our job…we always have. We understand the importance of filming your wedding and how it is a moment that you can hold onto for a lifetime. We recently completed a wedding video for the Roy’s. After receiving it, they sent us a letter that captures the heart of what we do and I would like to share that with you. If you would like to see some highlights of their wedding video you can check it out on our website www.alweddingfilms.com under the cinema tab. Here is the letter they sent us, and hopefully it will help future brides and grooms see the importance of capturing their day on video.

Digital Motion Films
RE: Our Wedding Day DVD
Dear Duane and Ashley,
We would like to thank you for our wonderful wedding DVD. It has been asked on more than one occasion, “Why did you hire a videographer to film your wedding? Our response has always been “Why not? Life is like a vapor… that appears for a little while and then vanishes. A wedding is highly regarded milestone, so if you don’t want to miss anything important, you should let a professional film the event.” Digital Motion Films did a fantastic job artistically sewing together the various elements of our wedding season. You were courteous, peaceful souls that captured all of our important moments. You demonstrated fast communication skill, and excellent professional judgment. These are characteristics that provide confidence in a vendor’s ability at such a detail-oriented occasion. The emails, the questionnaire, and the phone calls asked us the precise questions that we needed. Wedding Package 4 is worth every single cent, it is reasonably priced, and the final production was a Win/Win deal. Bravo on a job well done!
